About Emergency Alert Systems
Emergency Alert Systems (EAS) is a business unit of Inventis Technology, which is an Australian electronics design and manufacturing business based in Sydney. Established in 1985, Inventis Technology has a long and successful history developing world-class control and safety solutions for some of Australia's (and the world's) largest OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers); solutions that have helped them maintain their leadership positions in their respective niche market areas, both in Australia and overseas.
EAS was formed in 2009, following the development of a 'proof of concept' system to deliver more effective School Lockdown warnings. Following successful deployments in a number of primary and secondary schools in New South Wales, an enhanced system was developed in late 2009 that that used wireless networking to address larger multi-building campus sites. This same technology provied so robust, it was subsequently applied to pedestrian crossing warning systems, resulting in the PANDA System being launched in 2010.
Our core capability is the creation of simple to install, simple to use and very affordable wirelessly networked and wirelessly controlled audio and visual warning solutions that deliver timely, easily understood and highly effective warnings to site personnel, pedestrians and vehicle drivers, in a wide range of applications. These products are designed to deliver warnings of either emergency conditions (such as site evacuations or premises lockdowns) or alert conditions (such as trucks entering a distribution centre around a blind corner, or an active pedestrian crossing). Their modularity, scalability and flexibility, their ease of installation and use, and their far lower costs of ownership are what sets our solutions apart.
By uitilising the inherent benefits of wireless communications technologies, specifically their ability to significantly reduce installation times and costs, as well as create more flexible and robust control networks, we're delivering a range of solutions that deliver levels of modularity, scalability and flexibility that not only make them simpler to install and operate, but also make them ideal for a wider range of applications.
